      Something crazy that the author confirmed is that Yuri is as skilled and strong as Nightfall, the briar family is just built different

      If you want anime with deep mystery and lots of plot twist, you can watch astro lost in space .. its very good

      FINALLY! After 84 years…

      edit; also, think Ostania as Poland or East Germany. and the Westalis as the West Germany or France. that would be easier.
      Thats why that Ostania nation look like totalitarian regime nation. because it is. USSR nation thing. complete with secret police and spies.

      and the Forger family lives in East Germany here. the rich and developed part. BUT their apartment, and also the academy, looks like British stuff.
      'Berlint' name itself explains that it takes place in Germany. but especially, east germany there.

      but the twist here is, the east and west role in here is like reversed. the east being the good one, the west being the bad one.
      so much mixed things in this story. but the whole thing is about the situation of European geopolitics since world war 1 until cold war

      Ancient language has been said as Latin. As to why they're learning Latin, Latin is used in a few different fields as a common communicator….such as science labs for testing.

      Scientific names are mainly Latin.

      I kinda agree that shopkeeper is sus but yor has been trained since she was a child. Imagine a 12 year old being trained to kill. She's trained to not ask questions and follow orders.

      She even asks, later on, if she can be friends with an important person.

      This is such a fun show. I'm convinced the author must be a parent to have such insight on the goofiness and illogic of young children. The show has sort of a subversive pro nuclear family message.

      3:10 If you're curious, the author fairly recently gave some information on Anya's age in an interview, stating she is "around 5." Nothing specific, but more information than the actual story has given on this.

      Regarding episode 1, Yor didn't go to the hospital or even take any pain meds, there wouldn't have been time considering she went shopping before going home. She treated the wound herself, and then just endured it. Recall she's somehow low level superhuman. Not immune to bullets, but apparently somewhat resistant (heck, she even thought all she needed was one night's sleep to recover).

      27:00 It was indeed a little hard to follow, but in episode 2 the only visions Bond had early on were the ones with the static TV effects. He saw just static and darkness at first, and thus imagined a bunch of scenarios for why he would have a vision like that, eventually concluding he was going to die (and getting another vision that showed Yor making his food would be the cause). Albeit, I've heard the manga's author has since confirmed he would only have passed out from Yor's dish, not actually died from it, Bond just didn't know that.

      19:32 Bruh, if anybody singlehandedly sabotaged a terrorist attack, and threatened the people behind the attempt with sensitive personal information and intel they have no reasonable way of posessing… I don't give a fuck how old they are, or how old I am. That's scary!
